March Jobs

The beginning of March was hampered by snow and very cold conditions but the jobs still got done.

A FMS 575 Stroke head was fitted North of Inverness at the beginning of the month.

The Liebherr dust suppression system was completed with the water tank fitted and piped up. The system has a water tank which replaces the counterweight, hydraulic fill pump and hydraulic pressure washer pump to send water to jets at the stone cutting head. It can also be switched over to use a pressure washer lance for cleaning the machine before moving between sites. An antifreeze induction system was fitted for the pump which should protect it in this weather.

Another Liebherr arrived to have a sliding cab system fitted and a 30m telescopic boom. It could be here a while.
